Smosh and weed rant.

I'm sorry you guys, I HAVE TO.

So, lately, for some reason, I'm seeing all these people on Youtube and Tumblr saying stuff like "Oh my god, I heard Anthony used to smoke weed, I can't believe it, I'll never be able to look at him the same way again "
And I... I just...
I need to rant for a bit here about why it's ridiculous that all these people are upset.

Umm, well, okay, first off; Yes he smokes weed. Ian does too. It's not like they've made a big secret of it. They've used Anthony's bong as a prop in multiple videos. In A Day In The Life Of Smosh #4 Ian literally says, "I can't dance, I'm high." And seriously what did you think was going on in A Day In The Life Of Smosh #2. So, uh, this shouldn't come as a shock to people.

Secondly, people say that as if it's a terrible terrible thing. But the only reason people seem to think that is because it's illegal. If you put aside that fact, it's about as bad for you as getting moderately drunk. I'm not talking about throwing-up passing-out blackout drunk, but just normal, responsible drunk. So if you're upset that Ian and Anthony smoke weed, you'd better be upset that they drink too.

Thirdly, all these people are upset that they "did drugs". Yes, weed is a drug. So is alcohol. So is caffiene. Don't let a word scare you. Not all drugs are hardcore ones.

Finally, and most importantly, what Ian and Anthony choose to do with their spare time is their own choice. The fact that they smoke weed does not affect you at all, so why are you bothered buy it? If anything, it's really fun to watch when they decide to do Lunchtime or Ian Is Bored high, and it brings some nice variety to the videos. So why do you care? They're happy, the fans are happy, so it shouldn't matter.

In conclusion, Smosh/weed is my OTP and I will continue to ship it forever

(Oh, PS, in case I haven't mentioned this before: I'm not a pothead. I don't smoke weed, or drink, or do any sort of drugs for that matter. I just think that Ian and Anthony are fucking adorable when they're high and I want them to be able to do whatever they want [you know, unless it's something really harmful] without their fans judging them).
